Project Description
The VENTIlogic LS ventilator is a robust, easy-to-use, sophisticated system for invasive and non-invasive ventilation that is used in numerous countries to treat and support the recovery of patients suffering from COVID-19.
In addition to maximum safety and versatility, its benefits include unique ventilation functions and practical monitoring and mobility concepts for intra-hospital transport.
Project task
In April 2020, we received the trust of Löwenstein Medical Technology (LMT) for production support.
Our experienced team worked closely with LMT to finalise an effective transfer concept. Within a remarkably short timeframe of just 14 days, our highly qualified staff were familiarised with the production line. At the same time, we realised the production line transfer from Hamburg to Dessau, during which LMT was able to successfully take over the pilot series production and production line from us in mid-May 2020
By implementing our proven 2-shift model, accompanied by a targeted recruitment process, we made it possible to start production without any delays. Our expertise and commitment meant that LMT achieved the required first-pass yield rate in the shortest possible time. Our stable delivery processes of end devices to Hamburg further contributed to increasing the overall production efficiency.
